This is the first watercolor painting I ever painted at a short class I took a year or so ago in Seattle. I chose to paint the humble Dandelion - my favorite of all herbs. The Jupiter-assigned Dandelion, by Nicholas Culpeper, is considered the lowest of the low by most gardeners, yet I love it for it's color, it's tenacity, it's fortitude and it's incredible healing properties. It can teach us much!
